Cim-Tek’s Tank Dryer swiftly removes water from diesel, biodiesel, gasoline, and fuel oil found at the bottom of above-ground fuel tanks by utilising a super-absorbent polymer. This prevents water contamination in your fuel, minimising engine downtime and maintenance expenses. It is compatible with Hydraulic Oil and Kerosene.
Each Tank Dryer can absorb approximately 400 millilitres of water. It features a 9-foot string for easy lowering into the tank, with the dryer itself measuring 24 inches in length. Its effectiveness can be observed in as little as 24 hours. Suitable for use with transfer tanks, farm tanks, and saddle tanks with a 2-inch opening or larger.
Please note, it is not recommended for use with ethanol-blended fuel, as alcohol-based additives designed to disperse water may diminish the Tank Dryer’s effectiveness.
